Winter - A matter of proper dressing

Last couple of days, we (sucheta and myself) have been searching for a apartment for rent in Espoo. We were assisted by Mrs Heljä Airaksinen during our home search. During our search, we were quite apprehensive about the cold weather in Finland during peak winter. So we were looking for an apartment which is very close to office and which has minimum walking distance from the home to bus stop.
But one statement by Mrs Heljä put all our fears to rest. She said, "Winter is just a matter of proper clothing.If you wear proper clothes (long warm Jacket with hood,thermals,long shoes, gloves,muffler and cap), you need not worry about the cold weather".
Another important point she mentioned that the head should be covered properly, since more than 30% of the heat loss is from the head and neck.
