Ask the right question

"Asking for an apple will not fetch you a pen".

In simple words, ask the right question. If you want a pen, then ask for a pen and not for an apple.

The above argument is simple and easy to understand. But still so many of us ask wrong questions. Be it a technical discussion or an informal chat, it would be useful if we could ask these questions to yourself before putting it to someone else
- Can the question be rephrased to make it simpler
- Will this question give me the required answer
