Accelerators, Brakes and Shock absorbers

In a vehicle, how would rate the following according to importance -
- accelerators
- brakes
- shock absorbers

Most people would order them as 1.accelerators 2. brakes 3. shock absorbers ( or brakes,accelerators, shock absorbers.) .

I would rather choose the order 1. brakes, 2. shock absorbers, 3. accelerators. (or 1. accelerators, 2. shock absorbers, 3. brakes) I believe that between the accelerators and brakes, it is the shock absorbers that make the ride smooth and comfortable.

You can relate this to your own personal lives. In your family/friends there are people who act like brakes or accelerators, but you need excellent shock absorbers to make the whole thing work. The same is true with marriages as well. One of the spouse should act like a shock absorber, otherwise the whole thing may go wrong. (Ideally, a person's qualities should be a combination of all the three )

Look at your own roles and see if you are an accelerator , brake or a shock absorber or a combination of these.
