How to change

"Change is the only constant thing in this world" is a statement often quoted, but not many are willing to bring about the change themselves. The changes in our lives are not the ones that we drive, but those which are driven by others factors.

When was the last time you thought that you would change something? May be today morning or last week, but did you actually achieve the desired change. In most cases, the answer would be "No". More often than not, lack of time/resources is given as a primary reason for our the inherent inablity to change.
Let us consider a simple case: Suppose you want to reduce your weight. You make elaborate plans to acheive this goal. Maybe you even take the first step, of joining the gym or some yoga classes. But the problem for most people starts after this. After a couple of days, your enthusiasm levels go down and you lose intrest. As a reslut, you are back to the same state as you were a couple of weeks back.
What makes you give up your plan. The simple answer to this could be "Not being able to keep up the motivational levels all the times". This is a major hurdle for most people, but there some simple ways to keep your enthusiam levels high.

You could use below mentioned simple techniques to keep your motivational levels high and achieve the desired change in your life:
1. Make a clear plan of what you want to achieve and try to follow it meticulously.
2. Write a one-line motivational result in your dairy everyday, atleast 5 times (ex "I will be slim and trim in 3 months time"). While writing this, ensure that you ponder over it for a few seconds, just don't scribble without thinking.
3. Talk to people who have achieved similar change. Try to emultae their ways to achieve results. Chat with one of the achievers atleast twice a week. This will keep your motivational levels high.
4. Read about achievers. This will not only help you overcome you laziness, but also make you dream big.
5. Be honest in your efforts. Anything pursued honestly is of great significance for you in your personal life. If you achieve it, you would be happy to fulfill your dream. Even if you don't achieve the desired result, you would still be happy that you gave your best shot.

The above simple techniques will help you change your life in a small, but meaningful manner.
