Ever since I arrived in finland, I was not doing any yoga exercises. But now I have started again. I don't get up at 5.30 though :).
I do a 30-45 mins yoga practise on weekdays. The normal set of exercises I do are as follows
- Surya-namaskar A ( 3 times)
- Surya-namaskar B (3-4 times).
The above two exercises are good enough to make you sweat in 10 minutes. So if you are really pressed for time, it would be ok if you just perform these two exercises. They strech your body and make you feel relaxed. The another advantage of it is that since Surya-namaskar is a sequence of exercises, you effectively pefrom 8-10 asanas in one go.
Below is the sequence for surya-namaskar A.
After the surya-namaskar , I do some simple asanas such as
Trikonasana
Baddhakonasana
Dhanura-asana
Paschimottasana
Hastapadangustasana
Parivritta parshvakona asana
sarvanagasana
Hala-asana
Chakra-asana
The total time to complete these takes around 30 mins.
By the end of this sequence, the body feels relaxed and you are ready to start your day !!!!
